Comprehensive Breast Care Center

This year alone, 211,240 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in the United States. Of those, 40,410 women will die as a result of the breast cancer. Studies show that the earlier the cancer is detected, the better a patient’s chances of survival are. Regular mammograms help detect breast cancer in its earliest stages.

A routine mammogram finds a possibly cancerous lump in a woman’s breast. After anxious days of waiting for evaluations, she learns she has breast cancer. Next, she might consult a radiologist, a breast surgeon and an oncologist to determine her best course of treatment. In most cases, she'll go from one doctor to the next considering each bit of advice. That doesn't happen at The Jackson Clinic Comprehensive Breast Care Center.

Comprehensive Care

The Comprehensive Breast Care Center of The Jackson Clinic offers a multidisciplinary team approach to breast care through a team comprised of oncologists, radiologists, breast surgeons and a plastic/reconstructive surgeon. Once your testing is completed, our team discusses your case and develops an individualized treatment plan. Our team also works to educate you so that you are equipped to become involved in your treatment decisions.

Women’s Imaging Department

The Women’s Imaging Department allows all of your tests to be performed within the Comprehensive Breast Care Center. The Department centralizes many of the diagnostic services offered by the clinic for women and incorporates the latest technology in testing procedures, including new digital mammography equipment, DEXA bone density testing equipment and a new stereotactic biopsy system.

Truly Coordinated Care

Each patient is tracked by a specially trained nurse who coordinates your treatment plan. You can call your coordinator to ask questions and schedule appointments.
